Specific Needs of Deaf People Studying at Universities in Czech Republic

The thesis focuses on the issue of education of people with hearing disabilities at universities in the Czech Republic. It emphasizes the specific educational needs of people with hearing disabilities who study at the university, and which meet the needs by support services. Work specifically address to the different types of support services and centres to support students with special educational needs at universities that offer these services. The survey, conducted in the form of online questionnaire, found that the use of support services is frequented and at the same time, the quality of these services is rated as very high. The survey also followed the use of modifications graduation exam correlated using a modification of entrance exams for universities. Created an online questionnaire in the Czech sign language provides effective feedback deaf students to the centres to support students with special educational needs.
